HFM LOCATION

The Harlingen Farmers Market takes place every Saturday on "A" Street between Jackson and Monroe in Downtown Harlingen. The fall, winter and spring hours are from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., with one exception - the first Saturday of every month we open at 2:30 in order to accommodate Market Days shoppers.

Park on Monroe Street, or in the city parking lot bounded by Monroe, Jackson, 1st and 2nd Streets. There is plenty of parking around the market. Be aware that on every first Saturday of the month, Jackson Street is closed to vehicular traffic for Market Days, which is open from 9 am to 4 pm.

The Harlingen Farmers Market (HFM) is a place for local RGV farmers and other food-related producers to sell directly to RGV residents.

Do you grow vegetables, fruits, herbs or other edible products? Do you raise chickens for egg or meat production? The HFM is ready to be your partner. The HFM will provide you with space to sell at no cost to you. Small-scale producers are welcome!

The mission of the Harlingen Farmers Market is to provide opportunities for farmers to sell their produce directly to consumers, while in turn offering consumers opportunities to buy locally grown produce directly from farmers.

The downtown Harlingen Farmers Market is held weekly every Saturday afternoon. Our fall, winter and spring hours are from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.  We recommend you remember 3:00 pm so you have the best possible selection to choose from when you arrive. However, should you be just getting back into town at 4:15, come on over because there will still be fresh food available!

The Market location is on "A" Street between Jackson and Monroe, behind Grimsells and in front of New York Deli. Just about everyone knows where that is, but if you don't, Google map it... after going once you'll never forget how to get there. By the way, there is ample parking on Monroe Street.

Sandra Mink is back! Sandra is once again regaling Market shoppers with her musical talent as she strolls the Market, singing and playing a variety of songs on her guitar. There is a sweet pleasure in hearing her music as we shop and visit with friends....
