Acacia Farms

Growing in Harmony with Nature. Our gardening practices are based on many years of gardening experience. My family is Cherokee. I grew up on an organic farm and learned that if we take care of the soil, it will feed us. We practice natural gardening. We do not use chemicals or synthetic fertilizers in the garden. Insects are controlled with beneficial predators. We prefer to grow open-pollinated, heirloom varieties of vegetables.

We grow a multitude of vegetables year round. In the fall/winter/spring we have beans, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, cucumbers, green onions/scallions, kohlrabi, lettuce, mesclum blend, onions, pac-choi, peppers hot and bell, peas: english, sugar snap and snow, potatoes, rutabagas, tomatoes: grape, cherry and slicing,

In spring/summer we have corn, cucumbers, garlic, melons(we grow 6+ varieties of melons), peppers both hot and bell, shallots, sweet potatoes, squash both yellow summer and zucchini.
