Become a Vendor
NOTE: For the 2023-2024 season, we have a limited amount of space for vendors. While you may submit your application at any time, currently we are looking specifically for the following:
Produce/veggie vendor
Native plant vendor
Herb and starter plant vendor
Coffee vendor
Interested in becoming a vendor at the Harlingen Farmers Market? You’re in the right spot.
HFM aims to have a balanced proportion of farmers to other vendors. This promotes family farms and advances our mission of providing locally grown food from farmers using sustainable practices and organic principles to Harlingen residents and the surrounding communities.
Vendor fees: $10/week for farmers. Everyone else $15/week.
The categories for inclusion at the market are:
GROWERS: Farmers, ranchers or harvesters
FOOD: Specialty foods, value-added foods, and ready-to-eat-and-drink foods
PLANTS: Locally grown vegetable plant starts, fruit trees, etc.
NATURAL PRODUCTS: Products such as soap, lotions, etc. that are used on the body or laundry/cleaning in the home.
ARTISAN PRODUCTS: Products which complement the HFM value of recycle, renew, reuse, repurpose. (Note: We have limited artisan space at the Harlingen Farmers' Market.)
